Your personal data will therefore be treated by us in accordance with the valid legal data protection regulations and this data protection declaration. Personal data is information that can be used to discover your identity. Typical personal data includes your surname, first name, address, telephone number, IP address, cookies and e-mail address.

If you view and use our website without registering or otherwise expressly providing us with information, we process the data that is automatically transmitted to us with each request from your browser (see the section "Log data"). If you voluntarily provide us with personal data (e.g. via our contact form), this is only done for the purpose of the enquiry or the respective order. We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet can never be completely protected against access by third parties.

In the following, we would like to explain to you in more detail in the individual sections which data we process, when and for what purpose. It will be explained how our offered services work and how the protection of your personal data is guaranteed.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data

As a provider, we may only process the personal data of website visitors if one of the conditions explained below exists as a legal basis:

If we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing personal data, Art. 6 (1) a DSGVO serves as the legal basis.

For the processing of personal data that is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures.

If the processing of personal data is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 (1) lit. c DSGVO serves as the legal basis.

In the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person make it necessary to process personal data, Article 6(1)(d) DSGVO serves as the legal basis.

If the processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO serves as the legal basis for the data processing.

Data deletion and storage period

The personal data of the data subject will be deleted as soon as the purpose of the storage ceases to apply. Storage may take place beyond this if this has been provided for by European or national laws or other regulations to which the person responsible is subject. The data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned regulations expires, unless there is a need to continue storing the data for the conclusion or performance of a contract.

You have a right to free information about your personal data stored by us and, if applicable, a right to correction, restriction of processing or deletion of this data. The automatic collection and storage of log data by the provider of the Internet services (provider) takes place because the processing of this data is technically necessary to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security. The log data includes the following information:

  • Date and time of the respective inquiry
  • Internet address (URL) that was inquired
  • URL that the visitor has visited immediately before
  • Browser and language used
  • Operating system used and its interface
  • IP address and host name of the visitor

In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of the data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility for the user to object.

Cookies

In order to make the visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal device and store certain information for exchange with our system.

The legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO and Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO. Some of the cookies we use are deleted again after the end of the browser session, i.e. after closing the browser (transient cookies). These include, in particular, session cookies. These store a unique identifier (session ID). This session ID can be used to assign various requests from your browser to a common session. This means that your end device can be recognised when you return to our website during a session. Session cookies are also deleted when you log out.

Other cookies remain on your terminal device for a specified period of time and enable us to recognise your browser or terminal device on your next visit (persistent cookies).

Please note that certain cookies are already set as soon as you enter our website. You can set your browser in such a way that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually about their acceptance or can exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases, in particular cookies from third parties (third party cookies) or generally. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited for you.

Configuration of the cookie settings in the browser

You have the option of preventing cookies from being stored on your computer by making the appropriate browser settings. Each browser differs in the way it manages cookie settings. This is described in the help menu of each browser, which explains how you can change your cookie settings. You can find these for the respective browsers under the following links:

Furthermore, we use HTML5 storage objects that are stored on your end device. These objects store the required data independently of the browser you are using and have no automatic expiry date. You can prevent the use of HTML5 storage objects by setting your browser to private mode. We also recommend that you regularly delete your cookies and browser history manually.

Encryption by SSL / TLS

For security reasons, our website uses SSL or TLS encryption. This protects transmitted data and can not be read by third parties. You can recognize successful encryption by the fact that the protocol name in the status bar of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and that a closed lock symbol is visible there.

Objection to unauthorised advertising by e-mail

Within the framework of the imprint obligation according to § 5 TMG, we have published general contact data as well as an e-mail address on our website. We hereby object to the use of this contact data for the unsolicited sending of information material, advertising or spam mails that we have not explicitly requested.

Yoast SEO

We use Yoast SEO to optimize our website and improve our findability on the internet. The service is provided by Yoast BV, Don Emanuelstraat 3, 6602 GX Wijchen, The Netherlands. For more information about Yoast's data use, please visit https://yoast.com/privacy-policy/. The legal basis for this processing on our website is our legitimate interest (pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO) in optimizing our website and thus supporting the successful operation of this website. You can restrict or prevent the setting of cookies by changing your browser settings. However, this will restrict the use of our website.

Newsletter and broad communication

We send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications (hereinafter "newsletter") only with the consent of the recipients or a legal permission. Insofar as the contents of the newsletter are specifically described in the context of a registration, they are decisive for the consent of the users. Otherwise, our newsletters contain information about our services and us.

To subscribe to our newsletters, it is generally sufficient to provide your e-mail address. However, we may ask you to provide a name for the purpose of a personal address in the newsletter, or further details if these are required for the purposes of the newsletter.

Double-Opt-In-Procedure: The registration for our newsletter is always carried out in a so-called double opt-in process. This means that after registration you will receive an e-mail in which you are asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with other e-mail addresses. The registrations to the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the registration process according to the legal requirements. This includes the storage of the registration and confirmation time as well as the IP address. Changes to your data stored by the shipping service provider are also logged.

Deletion and restriction of processing: We may store unsubscribed email addresses for up to three years on the basis of our legitimate interests before deleting them in order to be able to prove consent formerly given. Processing of this data will be limited to the purpose of possible defence of claims. An individual request for deletion is possible at any time, provided that the former existence of consent is confirmed at the same time. In the event of obligations to permanently observe objections, we reserve the right to store the e-mail address in a blacklist for this purpose alone.

The logging of the registration process takes place on the basis of our legitimate interests for the purpose of proving its proper course. If we commission a service provider to send e-mails, this is done on the basis of our legitimate interests in an efficient and secure sending system.

Notes on legal basis: The newsletter is sent on the basis of the recipients' consent or, if consent is not required, on the basis of our legitimate interests in direct marketing, if and to the extent that this is permitted by law, e.g. in the case of existing customer advertising. Insofar as we commission a service provider to send e-mails, this is done on the basis of our legitimate interests. The registration process is recorded on the basis of our legitimate interests in order to prove that it has been carried out in accordance with the law.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. According to the DSGVO, the USA is considered a third country with an unsafe level of data protection. In the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports and statistics on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

This website uses Google Analytics with the IP masking extension ("anonymizeIp"). This means that IP addresses are processed in a shortened form; according to Google, this should virtually rule out the possibility of personal references. Insofar as the data collected about you is related to a person, this should therefore be excluded immediately and the personal data deleted immediately.

We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. Google is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

We have concluded a contract for commissioned processing in accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO and a special, supplementary data processing addendum with Google to protect your personal data.

The personal data of the users will be deleted or anonymized after 14 months.
